TONIGHT!
Don’t kill me but this not an announcement about a new podcast episode. But it IS proof the co-hosts of ‘Disaster’ are super busy!
Steve Almond dismantled the false left-right-wwf-style paradigm in on fell swoop over at the New York Times the other day.
Ryan Walsh’s Hallelujah The Hills leave for tour this week and just premiered a brand new video for Nightingale Lightning.
So, yes!
Hey wow! A new miniature episode. Ryan drives down to Providence, Rhode Island for a chat with UCB co-founder Matt Besser about the shitshows & clusterfucks that happen out in the improv comedy world. Matt’s hilarious!
As you’ll hear in the interview Matt was touring his new movie Freakdance which is surreal, bizarre, and very funny. Watch it On-Demand or get the DVD later this summer.
Lastly, Ryan uses the word Addenment which he’s embarrassed about because we all know that’s not a word.
A small update regarding our hosts:
- Steve interviews Ryan on the occasion of the release of the new Hallelujah The Hills album at Largehearted Boy.
- Steve announced his summer/fall reading/teaching schedule.
- Ryan announced HTH tour dates and a guide to their new release.
The Disaster Podcast will return shortly! Thank for your interest in artistic catastrophes!

EPISODE 7 is a miniature dispatch from the road. It’s out now!
Members of Hallelujah The Hills sit in a venue that is currently a crime scene waiting to find out if their show will go on. Followed by the lead off single from HtH’s No One Knows What Happens Next out May 22nd, 2012!
Steve & Ryan’s classic back and forth banter will be restored soon in episode 8.
Hey, no more monthly live Disasters. So don’t show up at ZuZu’s on the 20th! We’re taking this podcast indoors. We’ll be back so soon!
Please take a listen to Doug Keith & Marisa Anderson sharing unglamorous stories & beautiful songs. Author William Giraldi baffles & delights! Episode 6 is out!
